CLASS 21    Cappamore  Show in association with the Irish Limousin Society present Limousin Breeding Heifer of the Year. Confined to non-pedigree heifers with no permanent teeth on Show Day. ALDI – Irish Angus All-Ireland Bull Calf Championships 2022 in association with ABP & Irish Angus Cattle Society Iverk Show Sat Aug 27th

Class B:               1st €2000, 2nd €750, 3rd 400, 4th €200, 5th €150

Class C:               1st €2000, 2nd €750, 3rd 400, 4th €200, 5th €150

Qualifiers Prize fund:        €250 For each animal qualified and exhibited at Iverk Show.

Rules & Conditions:

  • Breeder / Exhibitor must be a Member of the Irish Angus Cattle Society
  • Animal must be registered in the herdbook of the Irish Angus Cattle Society from birth, transferred animals are not eligible for entry.
  • Competition confined to Exhibitor bred bulls only.
  • All Bulls must be tested for Myostatin prior to Final – Bulls carrying both the F94L & NT821 gene are not eligible for entry.
  • Two bulls from each section may qualify at one of the designated qualifying shows, if in the judge’s opinion they are of the required standard.
  • A Breeder may only qualify two animals for each class in the final.
  • All bulls will be weighted by an ICBF Inspector at qualifying shows & final. Bulls exceeding a weight gain of 1.6kgs/day based on a 45kg birth weight will not be eligible to qualify and cannot attend subsequent qualifiers. Bull exceeding this maximum weight on the Final day will not be permitted entry into the final.
  • Prizemoney for the qualified animals will be paid on presentation at the final at Iverk Show.
  • The Judges decision at the Qualifying Shows and at the Finals at Iverk Show will be Final. 
  • Entry Fee for qualifying shows is €20 payable to the qualifying show.
  • Entry Fee for the final is €15 payable to Iverk Show Society.
