Class 103 Special Foal Class for Foals by a Reg. Dt. Sire, Name of sire required. The progeny of mares entered in class 102. Name and R.I.D. No of sire to be stated – 1st Prize €100 and Ned Campbell Perpetual Trophy; 2nd Prize €75, 3rd Prize €50 – Entry fee €15

Class 104 The Irish Draught Colt Foal Qualifier. 1. This competition is open to animals with the breed code ID, registered in The Irish Draught Horse Studbook (or a harmonised Irish Draught Studbook) with recorded breeding. 2. If the Foal’s passport is not to hand the mare’s passport must be ready for inspection prior to entry to judging ring. Failure to comply with this rule will lead to immediate disqualification – Entry to Qualifying Show €10 To Final €20 at Ballinasloe Show on Sat 25th September.
Class 105 The Coolgreen Perpetual Trophy will be awarded to the best R.I.D. mare with foal at foot by a Registered Irish Draught Sire. Points to be divided equally between the mare and foal. No entry required.
Class 106 The Irish Draught 2 Year Old Filly Qualifier. 1. This competition is open to animals with the breed code ID, registered in The Irish Draught Horse Studbook (or harmonised Irish Draught Studbook) with recorded breeding.
2. Exhibitors to both the qualifier & Final must have their animal’s passport available for inspection prior to entry to judging ring. Failure to comply with this rule will lead to immediate disqualification – Entry to Qualifying Show €10 To Final €20 at Limerick Show on Sunday 28th August.

Class 112 Brood Mare Champion open to 1st and 2nd prize winners from classes 102, 107 and 108. Champion will receive Martin Higgins Perpetual Trophy and €75, Reserve will receive €50.

Class 119 T.I.H.A. Limerick Lady Championship Qualifier (a) for 2 year old Traditionally Bred Fillies, suitable for producing High Quality Traditionally Bred Sport Horses. (b)Fillies must have been registered as foals with a society that maintains its breed for- The Irish Sport Horse Breed, The Irish Draught Breed, The Thoroughbred Breed and The Connemara Pony Breed and must be by: Approved:(a) Thoroughbred Stallions, Connemara Stallions, ISH (TIH) stallions, Irish Draught Stallions or (b) any cross of the afore mentioned (c) Dams of the fillies must be by stallions as above & registered with a society that maintains its breed. (d) All exhibitors must have their fillies’ passport available for inspection at the qualifying show and at the Championship. (e) Entry fee for the Qualifier is €15; entry fee for the Championship is €25. (f) More than one filly may be selected at any qualifying show, provided that the standard of entries warrants such selection. (g) Should the standard of entries be insufficient, no filly will be selected. (h) Infringement of these conditions, or Championship Regulations may lead to disqualification. Each filly selected at the qualifying shows is eligible to compete in the T.I.H.A. Limerick Lady Championship on Sunday 28th August 2022.
