Cappamore Agricultural Show is one of Ireland’s leading One Day Shows and is very highly regarded among exhibitors and regular Show supporters throughout the Munster region as well as nationally. The Show was founded in 1954 and has run continually since. Cappamore Show will be held this year, on 18th August 2018 at the Showgrounds in Ballyvoreen, Cappamore.

A full listing of Show classes and special features is available on this website. A full listing of the results from the 2017 Show are also currently available. Cappamore Show is distinctive in that it incorporates both displays and competitions in areas such as Cookery, Crafts, Agricultural and Horticultural produce and other areas that draw on the traditional skills, arts and crafts of the region, as well as more traditional Show sections such as Cattle and Horse showing and jumping classes. Remember to bring friends and family along for a great day at the Showground, Ballyvoreen, Cappamore. Show Dance on the night in Hayes Sliabh Felim Function Room, Music will be confirmed. Free children's entertainment will also be provided on the day.

Looking forward to another exciting Cappamore Show this year.

Ballyvoreen is the venue for this year’s Show once again. Learning from last year, we plan to work on the field lay-out  to improve patron’s safety and ease of viewing of competitions and competitors.

Agri Kids.

Alma Jordan of Agri Kids will give two fun, lively and  interactive sessions on how to be safe and stay safe on the farm and in the countryside. Come along and learn how to be a Farm Safety Ambassador.

Other Entertainment.

This year we are delighted to announce that Limerick Local Enterprise Office is promoting the Limerick Food Experience at Cappamore Show following on from last year’s great success. Local food producers will be displaying their produce at this event in a dedicated Marquee on the field. In addition, Tom Flavin, Executive Chef, Limerick Strand Hotel, will give a Cookery Demonstration at 1 o’clock. Later in the afternoon Edward Hayden, celebrity Chef and culinary expert, will give a Cookery Demonstration. Both Chefs will use the produce of the local food producers.

Forum on Fodder and Mental Well-being.

 Michael Creed, Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine will attend Cappamore Show to endorse the work of the farming organisations, Teagasc and Dairygold in tacking these important and timely issues. The formalities will take place on the main stage at 2 o’clock where the audience will be addressed by Shay Galvin, Chairman of Limerick IFA, Tony Buckley former Munster and Ireland Rubgy player, Jim Woulfe CEO of Dairygold and then by Minister Creed. The audience is then invited to the Dairygold Marquee where the conversation may continue. If time allows, Minister Creed will visit various areas of the Showgrounds.
